The ShotKam captures the sight picture of a target, at the precise moment the shooter decides to pull the trigger. This allows the shooter to have images and data to analyze. The ShotKam allows complete understanding of the process in shooting whereby a moving target must be led, in order for the pellets to arrive on target. The video aids the shooter by letting him see images of successful and unsuccessful shots, and of how much lead he had given the targets at the point in time he decided to shoot. The ShotKam has a sensor which detects the discharge of the gun. Video recordings are taken prior to discharge, during discharge, and post discharge. The option of capturing still images, and slow motion around the discharge time, combined with the option to display a reticle showing the aim point of the gun, allows the shooter to rapidly improve his skills.
